Blaster
The original sketches - I don't actually remember if this batch was for this unit or part of a different round of exploration, but unused ideas always stayed in the bank and I often returned to sheets like this when new units came down the pipe.
The Blaster! While the Senkaishu faction was basically the 'first' because the first few units ended up in it, I didn't quite solidify its design language until a bit later on in the project. This design was at a point where I ended up quite happy with the contrast between sleek paneling and exposed mechanics, heavy duty weaponry, and color breakup.
